After the fire, substantial capital improvements were made to rebuild the community, which included excavation for a total cost of $74,766 in Phases 1 & 2. The community also received land survey certification, permit to operate, and development permits. Utility upgrades include water quality tests and a new city backflow system. The septic system has been evaluated with new septic tanks and risers installed. Completed plans include a road map, parcel map, construction plans, proposed clubhouse map, new meter location map, electrical plans, and final lot layout map. PG&E is also contracted for the utility conversion program, which started pre-construction.

Location
Paradise is located above the northeast Sacramento Valley in California’s Sierra Nevada foothills. In 2010 the town population was 26,218. On November 8, 2018, the Camp Fire devastated most of Paradise and neighboring towns. Paradise’s population was depleted post-fire but grew sharply in the following years, rising to 6,045 residents in January 2020. Paradise is served by Paradise Unified School District and several private schools. A milder climate, occasional winter snows, and an engaging environment make Paradise a popular destination for retirees.
