A very nice area for someone to retire in and also a very nice place to raise a family with GREAT schools that care about their kids. We're in a small town area that has all the things a person needs such as banks, convenience stores, fast food, medical facilities, hardware stores, dollar stores, grocery stores ect. If a person needs to go to the city then you have Savannah that is 70 miles away, Macon that is 98 miles away or Atlanta that is 180 miles away. Wal-Mart's are within 20 minutes in three directions.
