Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park is located in Pittsburg, Kansas which has a population of 20,000 at an elevation of 922 feet. The Park is one mile west of Highway 69 bypass on Quincy Street and one mile outside the city limits. Pittsburg is the coal capital of Kansas as well as zinc, clay, limestone, gas and oil. Pittsburg State University with its 5,000 students is located here. Also the city has an airport and just 22 miles from Pittsburg, in Joplin, Missouri (population 50,000), is a jet airport. The city of Pittsburg has a forward thinking city council which has attached a new Wal-Mart, a new Home Depot and a new Walgreen's and a new Starbucks store in recent years.

Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park has 12 acres with 103 mobile sites. All the sites are 25 feet wide and 50 to 80 feet deep with plenty of off-street parking for the tenants including grass yards and patios.
