SPORTSMAN'S COVE can be found nestled in historic McIntosh, Florida on 12,550 acre Orange Lake, secluded impressively at the end of a century oak lined road. The Cove is surrounded by picturesque live oaks, palms and prairie, in this charming town, minutes to the University of Florida in Gainesville and a scenic countryside of sprawling ranches, horse farms and estates in Marion County.

The relaxed atmosphere of the park offers great potential for fishing and exploring the lake and prairie, relaxing in the laid back setting and complete privacy in this "off the beaten path" location. It has it's own sewer system, water and electric available to all spaces.

There are 69 boat slips, a private boat ramp, aviation fuel for air boats, and regular gas located at the ramp. There are 8 mobile homes and 2 cottages owned by the park. The park has a screened meeting room that seats 60 for cookouts and other functions. There is a wash house, laundry room and store with office.

No other commercial zoning of any kind is allowed on the lake. The lake is one of Florida's best known fishing lakes, has just been designated as a "Fish Management Area" and is navigable by most boats to Cross Creek. Approximately 1/2 of the acreage would allow development of 3 story condominiums under the current zoning.
